Holiday club

Our October half term holiday club is back. We are pleased to sat we are back using the woods and indoor space at St Peter’s RC primary school in Newchurch.

The days will run from 9 am until 3 pm with an extra hour available afterwards for late collection (at an extra cost of £5 per child per day) 

We running as a 4 day week. This allows us to staff the days better. Also this allows us more time to fit in more activities and lets the children have a much broader range of things to do. 

We will, as always run with a deliberately small number of children, as we feel that the children who join us benefit from being in a space that is not overcrowded and that a rough routine for the day can be established. This also helps nurture some great friendships.

The days will be as 'child led' as possible with numerous activities available. Obviously the weather will determine if some of the outdoor activities are possible. Outdoor activities are our preference as much as possible!

Some of the activities done in past weeks already include:

fire lighting, tree climbing, den making, eco crafts, hula hooping, water rockets, gymnastics, campfire cooking, slacklining, yoga, cake making, games, soft archery, clay modelling, painting, team building and more! 

We are always up for new ideas and activities and the kids themselves are often the best inspiration.

Lunches and snacks will need to be brought in, alongside a water bottle. We may also have snacks around the campfire.  

Numbers for all sessions will be strictly limited, payment in full is needed to secure a place. 

Due to the nature of some of the activities we will be undertaking the sessions may only be suitable for children in reception or older.

Please let us know in advance if your child has any special requirements, we have an extensive background in working with a large range of needs and are happy to discuss how best to ensure each child can have their best possible experience.

The four day 'week' will cost £110 per child, with any late collections charged at £5 per session per child.

We are able to offer a 10% discount for siblings on the cost of the 4 days. 

More information will be sent out a few days before each week commences, once we have an idea of weather and any other factors that may affect the week.
